 Halton reported 63 new cases of COVID-19 Tuesday, marking the first time since Dec. 5-6 it had fewer than 70 cases in back-to-back days.The seven-day average of new cases fell to 91.4, down from a high of 114.4 on Jan. 6.The region also reported two deaths, both residents at Extendicare Halton Hills. There have now been 135 COVID-19-related deaths in Halton since the beginning of the pandemic, including 12 in the past week.               ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW                                        There are 62 people hospitalized with COVID-19 in the region, up five from yesterday, and there are now 21 in intensive care, down one.
