 Bowling Green man arrested after report of catalytic converter theftSeptember 7, 2022 WNKY Staff, Share This StoryFacebookTwitteremailPrintLinkedinRedditBOWLING GREEN, Ky.  A man is facing multiple charges after police say he attempted to steal a catalytic converter.Warren County Sheriff   Office deputies responded to the area around Hunters Crossing and Elrod Road around 2:54 a.m. Wednesday for a stanley shop (https://www.stanley-cup.com.de)  reported attempt of a catalytic converter theft.Authorities said the caller had seen a man under a vehicle on Hunters Crossing Way before he entered a black passenger vehicle and left. BGPD stated deputies conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle after it was spotted on Elrod Road.According to authorities, 33-year-old Tyler Bunch of Bowling Green admitted to the attempted theft after he was found with grass clippings on his boots, wet clothing and a Kobalt Sawzall box in the back of his vehicle.
