Orbassano, an Italian national living in Tonga, said the island had great potential to attract tourists, despite warnings from scientists that the area could be unstable and dangerous. Some seven years later, it seems the scientists were right. Hunga-Tonga-Hunga-Haapai, as the newly formed island was named, is now a shattered version of its former self, having been obliterated in the January 15 eruption. The explosion ripped through the emerging island, triggered a destructive tsunami, covered nearby Tonga  stanley cup (https://www.cup-stanley.uk) in ash, and produced an atmospheric shock wave that traveled around the world.     Impression of the island as it appeared before the January 15 eruption.  is a decent summer movie. Its got great action, funny quips, and a giant Hello Kitty Pez dispenser that knocks a guy off his motorcycle. Unfortunately, I left the theater disappointed. The movie focused so much on physical feats, both gargantuan and microscopic, that it forgot all about a very specific emotional arc the movie really could have used: A compelling mother-daughter relationship. The movie聽focuses on Hope Van Dyne  Evangeline Lilly  and her father Hank Pym  Michael Douglas  as they try to get Hopes mother, Janet Van Dyne  Michelle Pfeiffer , back from the Quantum Realm. This is both the movies plot and its plot device, as villains with various motives scramble to snatch the quantum technology Hope and stanley ca (https://www.stanleymugs.ca)  Hank created for the mission.     However, as much as the movie cares to get Janet back, it never cares why. Hopes relationship with her mother is not part of the movie, even though her rescue is the whole reason the movie exists. Hell, their relationship is barely mentioned鈥攁part from the  Jellybean  nickname, we know nothing about these women, their bond, or how it felt to be separated for over 30 years. Come on, Hope has literally taken her mothers mantle, putting on the costume Hank designed for her all those decades ago, and its treated as little more than a passing thought. This is not only frustrating, its a missed opportunity.  in the Star Wars universe. Fortunately, we have some great art to tide us over. Recently, StarWars revealed some new designs from The High Republic era in a showcase of concept art and choice interview quotes. The post explores the ways in which the design language builds off of and extrapolates from the ideas already present in  later  eras of Star Wars, and how old designs are cannibalized and recycled into creating new, exciting looks.     Take, for instance, the new Jedi Starfighter, the Jedi Vector. Not only can  stanley bottles (https://www.stanleywebsite.us) you see slight references, in its broken-up design, to the ships the Jedi use in the Prequels  which, in-universe, would be referencing the Vector , but its a fantastic design in and of itself.  The first six issues of Cry Havoc鈥攚ritten by Si Spurrier with art by Ryan Kelly, Nick Filardi, Lee Loughridge, and Matt Wilson鈥攈ave been collected in a new trade paperback that hits stores and digital outlets today. Cry Havoc: Mything in Action tells the story of Lou, a street musician whose roller-coaster romance with her girlfriend gets beyond complicated when she becomes host to a feral wolf spirit. After the attack in an alley that changes her, Lou starts experiencing blackouts and diminishing impulse control.     Spurrier gets a lot of  starbucks stanley cup (https://www.stanleymug.us) mileage out of the fact that living in 2016 seems to demands a homogenization of experience; letting anything too raw, unmoderated or bizarre out where other folks can see it is just bad manners. As a result, our modern age is rife with services that promise to discretely help sort out the messier parts of our lives. Desperate to try and tame the beast raging inside of her, Lou calls a helpline that funnels people like her into secret paramilitary research organizations.
