and hostility of Antarctica from the comfort of our warm homes. Its overwhelming vastness feels like an alien world right here on Earth. Yet, this Wes Andersonian documentary makes it look fun to live there. These are the daily adventures of the people who work at Union Glacier, in West Antarctica.  In 2013 I was the filmmake stanley cupe (https://www.stanley-cups.ro) r attached to the Scott stanley cup (https://www.cup-stanley.fr)  Expedition  the journey that completed Captain Scott   final, ill-fated expedition from the coast of Antarctica to the South Pole and back again. Our team passed through Union Glacier Camp on route to the starting point of Scott   Hut at Cape Evans, but after becoming stranded at the camp and working with the staff there; I decided to make this documentary. London-based filmmaker and illustrator Temujin Doran believes that this film seems a bit like an antithesis to many expedition and adventure documentaries. There is no great achievement or record broken, nor any real challenge to overcome. Instead it concerns minor details; the everyday tasks of the staff that were made more special by the environment surrounding them. And in fact, I think that   what attracted me to make this film鈥攖he delightful trivialities of an average life, working in Antarctica. It feels like that. Fascinating.  SPLOID is delicious brain candy. Referring to the draft bill as Aar stanley germany (https://www.stanley-germany.de) on   Law, Lofgren explains that it aims to prevent the Government levying  8220 uch disproportionate charges for incidents like the one Swartz was embroiled in. Swartz was indicted in 2011 for downloading thousands of academ stanley cups uk (https://www.cups-stanley-cups.uk) ic papers from the JSTOR database via MIT. He faced up to 35 years in prison, and took his life last Friday. Lofgren goes on to say that we should prevent what happened to Aaron from happening to other Internet users. From the post: It looks like the government used the vague wording of those laws to claim that violating an online service   user agreement or terms of service is a violation of the CFAA and the wire fraud statute. Using the law in this way could criminalize many everyday activities and allow for outlandishly severe penalties. This proposal marks the first major response by Congress to Swartz   suicide. Whether Lofgren   bill can make a real impact remains to be seen鈥攂ut it   at least a start.
