An all-party parliamentary committee charged with reviewing public funding for British cinema has urged the UK Government to continue offering tax relief as  absolutely essential for the  stanley cup (https://www.stanleycup.cz) health of the industry.  However, those tax-driven incentives should  evolve  to encourage both the production and distribution of British films. The current Section 48 tax relief scheme, which is aimed at spurring the production of British-qualifying films budgeted under $25m  拢15m , is not expected to continue in its existing form beyond July 2005.In today s published report on The British Film Industry  summarised below , The Culture, Media and Sport Committee concluded that  while ther stanley website (https://www.stanleywebsite.us) e is no acute new crisis - and stanley usa (https://www.cup-stanley.us)  many underlying strengths - there are longstanding chronic difficulties. To help ease those difficulties - and  end the currently uncertainty plaguing the industry  - the Committee called on the UK Government to commit to  an evolution of Section 48 relief, without further sunset provisions.   The Government s key priority should be the speedy and positive resolution of debate over the future of the Section 48 tax relief.  As part of that evolution, the Committee said it agreed with the UK Film Council proposition that the tax regime should now also encourage the distribution of British films. The House of Commons Committee, chaired by Gerald Kaufman, also urged the UK s public service broadcasters to increase levels of support for production and exhibition of British films.  T Xhmv Cain s Children director reveals challenges

After a long and lucrative musical career, Hallyday - who has also been making films stanley us (https://www.stanleycups.us)  since appearing in Les Diaboliques in 1955 - is likely being tapped for his work in the recent Patrice Leconte film The Man On The Train. A critics  favourite, the film showcased Hallyday s trademark ruffian rocker as  stanley kubek (https://www.stanleycups.pl) a worn out gangster who befriends Jean Rochefort s retired professor and changes places with him. A more obvious choice for the female prize, Saigner is best known for her work in Francois Ozon s 8 Femmes and will also star in the director s upcoming Swimming Pool, hotly tipped for a Cannes slot. The 23-year old Saigner is one of France s emerging stars on the international scene and will appear in PJ Hogan s Peter Pan playing Tinkerbell.            No comments                                                     No comments yet                                            You re not signed in.                Only registered users or subscribers can comment on this article.            Sign in            Register
