The latest updates to Forza Horizon 6’s vehicle roster have officially confirmed what many players feared: Bugatti will not be part of the launch lineup. This marks the first time in franchise history that the French hypercar brand is missing from a Forza Horizon release. Models like the Chiron and Veyron, long-time fan favorites, are absent from the base game according to community tracking on the official Forza Forums.
Why Bugatti is Missing
Rimac Joint Venture: Bugatti is no longer fully under Volkswagen Group control. The brand is now part of Bugatti Rimac (https://www.u4n.com/news/bugatti-absent-from-forza-horizon-6.html), a joint venture with Rimac Group and Porsche. This restructuring complicates legacy licensing agreements for video games.
Licensing Renewal Issues: Existing agreements between Microsoft/Playground Games and Volkswagen expired after the corporate shift. Negotiating new contracts with the joint venture has caused delays, preventing Bugatti from appearing at launch.
Bugatti Models Affected
Community telemetry tracking from Forza Horizon 5 shows these iconic models are missing in FH6:
Bugatti Chiron (2018)
Bugatti Veyron Super Sport (2011)
Bugatti Divo (2019)
Bugatti EB110 Super Sport (1992)
Bugatti Type 35C (1926)
When Will Bugatti Return?
While the absence is disappointing, it’s likely temporary. Playground Games has a history of bringing back tier-one manufacturers after launch. Fans can expect Bugatti to return through:
Monthly Festival Playlist updates – possibly as free additions
Premium Car Pass or DLC packs – once new licensing terms are finalized
For now, players will have to enjoy the massive FH6 car roster without the Bugatti hypercars, but the community remains hopeful for a post-launch comeback.
