I've been looking into this issue lately and I think it's becoming a serious problem in Korea. A lot of people are getting trapped in these schemes where they borrow small amounts but end up paying back way more than they initially borrowed. The interest rates and hidden fees are absolutely ridiculous, and it feels like the system is designed to keep people in debt. I wish the government would crack down harder on these illegal loan apps and protect vulnerable people who don't know any better. If you're considering this route, please think twice because the consequences are really not worth it.
