Two things started happening around the same time on my 2015 Wrangler and I cant tell if they are related or just coincidence. The steering wheel doesnt straighten itself out after a turn the way it used to, I have to kinda guide it back, and there is a faint whine when I am parking and turning at low speed. No leaks on the driveway that I can see and the fluid level looks fine, so I am torn between it being the pump or something in the steering gear. Someone linked me to jeepservicemussafah.ae/steering-repair (https://jeepservicemussafah.ae/steering-repair/) and the symptoms they list actually matched mine better than the random forums I was reading, which is why I am asking here before booking anything. Has anyone had the no return to center thing and what was the actual cause? I dont want to start with the most expensive part first.
