The Empowerment For Unemployed Youths Initiative in Nigeria on Friday took a protest to the national assembly calling for the immediate commencement of the Forensic audit of the Niger Delta Development Commission. The group also called for the prosecution of a serving lawmaker who they alleged to be interfering with the audit of the interim management committee of the NDDC.In recent times, the NDDC has been embroiled in controls following the order by President Muhammadu Buhari that a forensic audit of the commission from 2001 to 2019, be carried out.The group also called on president Muhammadu Buhari to immediately dissolve the screened Board of nominees to allow for an unfettered audit, under the watch of the interim management committee.
