 LAHORE:Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Sunday inaugurated the Insaf Medicine Card scheme for providing medicines free of charge patients of hepatitis, AIDS and t air force donna uberculosis. The chief minister distributed Insaf Medicine Cards among patients during a ceremony held at his office.He said on the occasion that in the first phase of the project medicines will be provided free of charge to 9,862 patients of AIDS, 23,560 of hepatitis and 70,047 of TB. Under a simple procedure adopted to facilitate the patients, they will be biometrically verified along with the original national identity card from their tehsil or district headquarters hospital.
