I’ve been hearing a lot about Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) lately, especially in recruitment discussions. From what I understand, an Applicant Tracking System is software that helps companies manage their hiring process more efficiently.

It basically collects resumes, sorts them based on keywords, and helps recruiters track candidates through different stages like screening, interviews, and hiring. Instead of manually going through hundreds of resumes, recruiters can filter candidates quickly using ATS tools.

I’m curious to know—how accurate are these systems in selecting the right candidates? Do they sometimes reject good profiles just because of missing keywords? Would love to hear real experiences from HR professionals or job seekers.
