 A group of Missouri firefighters were in the right place at stanley cup  the right time when their water training exercise turned into an icy water rescue.O stanley cup n Facebook, the Maryland Heights Fire Protection District said they were wrapping up training on Creve Coeur Lake when a deputy chief noticed two people running across it.That s when the ice broke, and both people fell through the ice.The crew went into rescue mode, and, along with the Pattonville Fire Protection District and Creve Coeur Fire Protection District, they were able to rescue the two people quickly.According to KDSK, the pair were taken to a nearby hospital to get checked out.They are expected to be OK, the news outlet reported.                Copyright 2022 Scripps Media, Inc.  Supporters of beef promotion are applauding a Montana magistrate judge that granted summary judgment in the matter of R-C af1 alf USA Vs. Sonny Perdue. The lawsuit was filed by R-CALF USA  Ranchers-Cattlemen Action Legal Fund United Stockgrowers of America  against the Montana Beef Council and eventually brought 14 other states into the lawsuit.Initially, a Montana federal district court granted a preliminary injunction prohibiting USDA from compelling cattle producers to pay checkoff money to fund beef promotion without obtaining producers consent. R-CALF also argued the checkoff violated first amendment speech.The Montana Stockgrowers Association President Fred Wacker believes the R-CALF lawsuit was unfounded a adidas campus nd applauds the summary judgment.  This is fabulous news for Montana beef producers and ranchers,  Wacker said.  The checkoff is our way of advertising and keeping out in front of our consumers.
