 Multiple people were shot in the area where a high school graduation ceremony was wrapping up in Virginia s capital city, according toScripps News Richmond.The shooting happened as the graduation cere stanley cup mony for Huguenot High School was ending at Altria Theater in Richmond, near the Virginia Commonwealth University campus.Sources told Scripps News Richmond there were at least seven victims with gunshot wounds, according to police. At least two of the victims with gunshot wounds were listed in  grave  condition, according to reports. They later died at a nearby hospital.Police said two individuals were initially detained, with only one of those currently suspected of being involved. The suspect believed to be involved is 19 years old, police said. Police said they were planning to seek second-degree murder charges.  KANSAS CITY, Mo. 鈥?The Missouri Charter Public School Commission has told Hogan Preparatory Academy to close its high school campus temporarily.The commission cited  multiple recent incidents affecting the safety of students and staff at each of HPAs campuses  in a Letter of Concern from Executive Director Robbyn G. Wahby dated Friday, Nov. 11. We are absolutely committed to making all the necessary changes in our procedures and staffing to ensure a safe, healthy, and favorable environment for our students and teachers,  Hogan Prep Superintendent Jayson Strickland said in a statement to KSHB 41 News.The commission directed Hogan Prep not to allow high school students to attend school on campus until at least Monday, Nov. 28. PROPOSAL TO INCREASE FUNDING This week, The U.S. Innovation and Competition Act is expected to get a vote in the Senate. The proposal would boost funding for NSF from $8.5 billion to anywhere between $29 - $100 billion annually.
