 A dog that was missing for two months was found by a pair of hikers in Colorado.On Nov. 19, two hikers were at Meyers Ranch Park when they spotted a dog on the trail and no owner in sight stanley cup , according to the Jefferson County Sheriff s Office. The hikers tried to befriend the dog, who was injured and scared. While trying to carry the dog down the mountain, one of the hikers was bit, the sheriff s office said.Jeffco Open Space rangers and Jeff stanley cup co Animal Control responded to th stanley cup e park after the hikers called for help.One of the hikers remained with the dog while the other came down for medical help and showed rescuers where to go, the sheriff s office said. Rescuers successfully hiked in and brought the injured dog down the mountain.One of the rescuers remembered seeing a lost dog poster in the park more than a month earlier. Harris County prosecutors say that Dr. Hasan Gokal has been charged with theft by a public servant for taking a vial of COVID-19 vaccine. Gokal is facing up to a year in jail and a $4,000 fine.Prosecutors made their announcement on Thursday in Houston, according to NBC News and CBS News. Gokal, who worked for Harris County Public Health, allegedly stole a vial that contained nine doses of a vaccine while working at a county vaccination site in Humble on Dec. 29. He told a fellow employee a week later, and that employee reported him to his supervisors, the Hill reports.The health department investigated the matter, and Gokal then was fired. The Harris County District Attorney said Gokal disregarded national protocols to ensure that vaccine is not wasted but to administer it to populations and front-line workers on a waiting list.
