stanley cup RAGE, Alaska 鈥?Pilots and others using navigation systems throughout Interior Alaska may experience disruption due to Air Force training, officials said.Eielson Air Force Base is conducting GPS signal-jamming exercises through May 24 that may disrupt navigation systems, The Anchorage Daily News reported Thursday.The tests will happen on weekdays between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., the Air Force said in a statement. ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW Civilian pilots are most likely to be affected by GPS signal loss during the exercise periods, said Air Force Lt. Kayshel Trudell.Pilots reliant on GPS-based navigation systems are training to contend with situations where an adversary might jam their signal. The training is part of a joint-force exercise called Northern Edge 2019 to prepare U.S. troops for crises in the western Pacific and Indian Ocean regions. stanley cup s arrived, they found Smith sitting in the middle of a corn field.When law enforcement approached Smith, he picked up the machete and raised it over his head in an aggressive manner, according to the release.Officers asked Smith to drop the machete, instead, Smith threw it at the deputys vehicle and started running.According to the release, Smith was told to get on the ground. He refused at first, then eventually complied. While deputys attempted to put the man in handcuffs, Smith grabbed the deputys duty belt in an attempt to pull him down. The deputy eventually deployed his taser twice before Smith relented.Deputies discovered Smith was wanted on three outstanding warrants stemming from charges out of Barren and Warren Counties.Smith is charged with second-degree fleein
