 The Milwaukee Country Transit System and the Hop in Milwaukee are suspending service until Friday morning for safety concerns relating to the George Floyd Protests.Just before 4 p.m. an emergency alert was issued about the halt in service.                    Summerfest canceled for the first time in history due to  abundance of caution  The Milwaukee County Transit System  MCTS  will temporarily suspend all bus service starting at 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 4th after experiencing significant service disruptions in the past six days,  a press release from MCTS said.MCTS said bus routes will resume normal operations in the morning. Service will also be suspended Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights with it picking back up the next morning.
