The company has started rolling out the ability to delete the last 15 minutes of search history with a simple tap. Its a feature originally introduced to iOS users last summer to help bring Google back into the good graces of the iPhone-using crowd, and now its showing up on Android devices.     Google confirmed the rollout to The Verge over the weekend.  Were currently rolling this feature out on the Google app for Android and expect it to be available to everyone using the app in the next few weeks,  said a company spokesperson. The feature was initially spotted by former editor-in-chief of XDA  stanley cup Developers, Mishaal Rahman, who was tipped off to the feature via a Twitter follower. Some folks have already received the update on their respective Android devices, including 9to5Google, where you can see screenshots of what the feature looks like. The option to scrub 15-minutes of search terms will appear below the Search History option in the settings panel of the Google app. Unfortunately, the ability hasnt rolled out to my primary Android device, the OnePlus 9, nor is it on my Google Pixel 6 Pro. Whats so helpful about this feature, anyway  If youre like me and spend your Sunday mornings looking up whether narwhals can jump for your kid, it will help so that your algorithm isnt affected by every search query.  Indeed, when R. spinosus whips out its tong stanley cup ue to snag a cricket, it produces an accelerati stanley quencher on 264 times greater than the force of gravity, according to research conducted by biophysicist Christopher Anderson and published today in Scientific Reports. Your Tesla Model S may go from zero to 60 mph in under three seconds, but this scaly pipsqueak can achieve the same delta-v in one three hundredth of that time.  The startling discovery came about when Anderson鈥攚ho has been studying the biomechanics of chameleon tongues for years鈥攄ecided to see how power output differs among different species. So, he gathered individuals of 20 species that vary widely in size, from several inches to several feet in length. One by one, he perched his subjects in front of stanley becher  a camera that shoots at 3,000 fps, and proceeded to dangle an extremely unfortunate cricket in front. When the chameleons tongue lashed out to nab the irresistible snack, Anderson was able to measure distance, elapsed time, speed and acceleration. The first thing Anderson noticed was that smaller chameleons wield tongues with higher peak accelerations. And the smallest of all鈥擱. spinosus鈥攐utperformed its larger counterparts by nearly a factor of ten. According to Andersons calculations, R. spinosus tongue has the highest power output per mass  14,040 Watts per kilogram  of any known reptile, bird or mammal.  Prior to this study, chameleons were known to project their tongues up to 2 body lengths, at accelerations up to almost 50 g,

New research published in Current Biology describes a fifth mode of locomotion in snakes, the other four being stanley thermos mug  sidewinding, rectilinear, lateral undulation, and concertina. The newly discovered form of climbing, dubbed  lasso locomotion,  could result in better mitigation strategies to protect the native bird population from the invasive brown tree snake  Boiga irregularis . The snakes were inadvertently introduced to the island in the 1940s and 1950s, after which time the native bird population began to plummet. In fact, this lasso locomotion鈥攊n which the snakes create a loop with their bodies to generate friction鈥攎ay be contributing to the  success and impact of this highly invasive species,  allowing them to exploit resources that  might otherwise be unobtainable,  wrote the authors, led by ecologist Julie Savidge from Colorado State University, in thei stanley vaso r new paper. The lasso technique likely evolved to help them climb trees, but the snakes are now using the method to climb artificial structures like utility poles.  That these nocturnal snakes are slithering amok on Guam is a serious problem. Most of the native birds on the island have disappeared since the snakes arrival, with Micronesian starlings and a species of cave-nesting birds being the last to survive. The starlings are of particular ecological importance, as they distribute fru stanley cup its and seeds across the island. Whats more, these snakes, being proficient climbers, also cause damage to human infrastructure, and theyre Hgme Neural Networks Upscale Film from 1896 to 4K, Make It Look Like It Was Shot on a Modern Smartphone
