Kevin Feige at the Marvel panel Disney Winners Kevin Feige Its always a good weekend to be Kevin Feige but this weekend was especially good. His first R-rated film, Deadpool Wolverine, became the sixth biggest opener ever, he got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and he pulled off the coup of the century getting not just the Russo Brothers, but Robert Downey Jr. himself, to come back to the MCU. Not bad for three days. DC Universe Going into Comic-Con, there was some disappointment that James Gunn wasnt bringing Superman and his other upcoming DC projects to the convention. Only, that wasnt exactly right. Instead of one big, central event, Gunn quietly revealed the studios new logo, its first trailer moving forward for Creature Commandos , and then got some really strong buzz for the Batman spinoff show, The Penguin, thanks to a trailer and in-person activations. The convention ended with a real sense of DC having patience and purpose. Fallout The Prime Video Baqu 11 Amazing Things We Learned From the New聽Twin Peaks FAQ Book
New research from the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics CfA suggests
stanley becher some of the 11 farthest stars in our galaxy鈥攁pproximately 300,000 lightyears from Earth鈥攚ere probably snatched from the Sagittarius dwarf galaxy. Its the second-closest galaxy to our own, making it the perfect victim for this celestial crime. Graduate student Marion Dierickx and her PhD advisor, Harvard theorist Avi Loeb, investigated the encounter by running computer simulations that tracked the Sagittarius dwarf galaxys movements, including its velocity and inclination, over 8 billion years. The team found that as Sagittarius orbited the Milky Way, our galaxys gravitational pull tugged at the dwarf galaxy, swiping five or so stars in the process. Six other distant stars were probably pilfered from another neighboring dwarf galaxy. In all, theres been no justice for Sagittarius. Over time, it has lost a third of its stars to the Milky Way, along with 90 percent of its dark matter. But Dierickx and Loeb hope the Sloan Digital
