NASAs Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter  LRO  captured images of the lander on Saturday at 1:57 p.m. ET. From the images, Intuitive Machines was able to determine that its IM-1 mission landed less than a  stanley shop mile away  1.5 kilometers  from its intended landing spot near the Malapert A crater in the Moons south pole region, the company wrote on X.     The Odysseus lander touched down on the surface of the Moon on February 22, 2024. Odysseus touched down on the Moon on Thursday evening, becoming the first commercial vehicle to land on the Moon. Prior to its descent, the landers laser rangefinders, which are designed to assess the Moons terrain to identify a safe landing spot, malfunctioned. In order to help O stanley vaso dysseus on its way down, flight engineers uploaded a software patch to repurpose a secondary laser on a NASA payload on board the lander. Odysseus captured this image around 35 seconds after turning on its side d stanley cups uring its approach to the landing site. Image: Intuitive Machines The lander made it to the surface but ended up sideways, lying horizontally on what may be a lunar rock. Some of the antennas that the lander is designed to use to communicate with Earth are pointed downward, which made it hard for Odysseus to transmit data to ground control at first. The lander seems to have gotten the hang of it for now, beaming back those early images from  Wqhx House of the Dragon   s Youngest Villain Teases How That Season 1 Ending Impacts Season 2

Motherboard reported its findings Friday after acquiring the slide presentation that included Elcomsofts directive for handling Apples iPhone X. While Motherboard said it obtained the presentation from a non-Elcomsoft source, it added that  the company subsequently confirmed its veracity.      In the presentation slide, Elcomsoft outlined methods to avoid potentially being locked out of one of Apples phones. It also highl stanley mug ighted specific instances outlined by Apples 2017 security guide in which a passcode would be required over Face ID. Elcomsofts CEO Vladimir Katalov told Motherboard the company advised never looking at the screen of an iPhone with Face ID in order to avoid losing one of five attempts before the phone reverts to requiring a passcode. This is because, as Motherboard notes: Courts have compelled suspects to unlock their device with their face or fingerprint, but the sam stanley canada e approach does not necessarily work for demanding a passcode; under the Fifth Amendment, which protects people from incriminating themselves, a passcode
