In a Monday tweet, Terra Field, who is trans and queer-identifying, wrote in regards to her Nov. 21 resignation that although she was  not happy that this is how things turned out 8230;I do think this outcome is the best for all parties involved.  That tweet linked to an an open letter posted to Medium in which Field explained that her decision to leave the company had stanley thermos  been fueled in part by the termination of B. Pagels-Minor鈥攁nother leader of Netflixs transgender employee resource group who had been pregnant at the time they were laid off.     While Netflix had claimed in a statement at the time that the termination had been in response to the  sharing [of] confidential, commercially sensitive inform stanley cup becher ation outside the company,  Pagels-Minor had vehemently denied those accusations in an interview with Vulture. In her resignation letter, Field signaled her support for her fellow organizer, citing the termination as a key factor in her decision to leave.  Shortly after B. was fired for something I did not and do not believe they did, I made a decision: sink or swim, I was going to walk side by side with B. as they had for so many of us while they led the Trans* ERG,  Field wrote in her blog post. The employee backlash at Netflix was initially sparked by several comments heard in Chappelles latest special for the platform, The Close Xqfi Thai Boys Were Given Ketamine to Prevent Panic and Hypothermia During Cave Rescue
One group鈥擝rooklyn-based design studio AE Superlab鈥攈ad the bravery to speak this truth. In response to a request for proposals to improve Penn Station, the lab sent in their idea to build a roller coaster either right on top, or possibly on the nearby Farley Post Office Building. Though developers claim it could generate up to $38 million a year in ticket sales, it seems unlikely this project would be given the go-ahead. Still, the design is admittedly very cool.     It would have 11 gondolas freefall in five rings in five rings, representing the five boroughs, at speeds of up to 100 mph. Taller than the London Eye  take that, Brits! , it would also have a LED facade that displays s stanley cup website ports updates and weather. And itd do wonders for the skyline. With 650,000 commuters getting lost in Penn Station every day, it certainly does need a revamp. Its unwieldy, hated, ugly, and generally sucks. This might not be the most feasible of the plans to revamp Penn Station, but it can certainly join the ranks of beautiful redesigns that we maybe shouldnt quite build yet.
