and Twitter appears to finally be coming to a close, and Twitter employees are not happy about who their new boss will be. Musk previously disclosed to investors his plans to axe 7 stanley thermosflasche 5% of the companys workforce, and  stanley water bottle Twitter employees have responded in a coordinated letter to Musk and Twitters board. Musks forthcoming acquisition stanley drinking cup  of Twitter is ending not with a whimper, but with a scream from employees of the social media platform. After being rightfully concerned about the tycoons alleged plan to gut 75% of the companys workforce following his takeover, Twitter employees mobilized by penning a joint letter addressed Musk and the companys board to express their discontent over the direction the platform and company could take under the new leadership. The letter was obtained and reviewed by Time, and published in full on Monday.      Elon Musks plan to lay off 75% of Twitter workers will hurt Twitters ability to serve the public conversation,  the letter reads, as quoted in Time.  A threat of this magnitude is reckless, undermines our users and customers trust in our platform, and is a transparent act of worker intimidation.  The letter further explains that Twitter has helped independent journalism thrive, specifically in places like Ukraine as political agendas skew the goings-ons in volatile areas.  Artists concept of Akatsuki observing the clouds of Venus. Image credit: JAXA     Akatsuki originally attempted to slip into orbit around Venus in December 2010. During  stanley cup the extended main engine burn intended to alter its trajectory to orbit the planet, the spacecrafts fuel valve choked leading to a jump in engine temperature. Although its hard to tell from hundreds of millions of kilometers away, it looks like this temperature spike led to structural failures. Just under 3 minutes into the 12-minute burn, the spacecraft started spinning as though the ceramic nozzle directing thrust had fallen apart. The fault-dete stanley flask ction system shut down the burn before things got even worse, but the spacecraft missed its window and soared helplessly past Venus out into space. Venus in ultraviolet taken after the failed orbital insertion in 2010, confirming that Akatsukis cameras were still functional. Image credit stanley kubek : JAXA Akatsukis engineers were faced with a functioning spacecraft loaded with gorgeous cameras to track weather, but no planet to observe. Heartbroken but undaunted, they sat down to plan out a daring alternative. Their spacecraft would pass near Venus again one day  today!  and even though the main engine was blown they still had functioning maneuvering thrusters. It wouldnt be easy: they had to keep Akatsuki functioning far past its two-year intended lifespan, and it would mean going far closer to the Sun than ever intended.
