 A longtime road closure on Concession 8 in Pickering wont be opening any time soon, or perhaps ever.When a reader asked why a portion of Concession 8 in north Pickering has been closed for many years, Durhamregion contacted the City of Pickering to find out.Pickerings supervisor of roads operations, Rod Marshall, explained its located on land that the federal government has set aside for a potential airport.
