Out with the old and in with the new.Renfrew recreation department is updating some of its equipment at the Ma-Te-Way Activity Centre. Both items were approved by Renfrew council Dec. 10.The first is a new Olympia Millennium Ice Resurfacer for the Activity Centre at a cost of just under $81,000, replacing its 1998 model, which was used as a backup since the last ice resurfacer purchase in 2014. The recommended life span of these units is eight years.
