Work will begin this spring to replace the aging bridge that spans over Highway 400 at Highway 89 in Cookstown.The bridge is being replaced to accommodate the future widening of Highway 400.While the actual bridge work isnt slated to begin until April, work is already being performed around the site to prepare for project. A Milton woman is facing charges in connection with whats being described by police as a hate-related incident.According to Halton police, on January 31 at about 2 p.m. a mother and her teenage son were threatened with harm by a woman in the parking lot at Kennedy Circle on Thompson Road.No one was injured.
