 OSHAWA 鈥?Oshawa councillors have given the green light to a zoning amendment which will allow the construction of a drive-in self-storage business at the Five Points Mall.Dymon Group of Companies has purchased the former Target building which has been shuttered since Target went out of business in 2015.The plan is to stanley thermobecher  construct a two-storey storage facility with a retail component on the ground level. While there were several allowed uses on the site including retail and condo development, council had to pass a zoning amendment to allow a storage facility.               ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW                   stanley flask                       At a June development services meeting, Bliss Edwards, senior director of planning for Dymon, said she would expect 27 to 29 car trips a day to the storage facility, and customers would load and unload inside the building. There would be roughly 1,000 storage units.      As the facility is temperature-controlled, it allows for businesses to store files or inventory.
