He was born in Fort Fairfield, the son of John and Olive  Searles  Saucier.Richard loved working many years at Cary Medical Center as a CNA, and also served in the U.S. Army, then afterwards in the National Guard. His true passion through the years was building model airplanes, hunting and fishing, and cheering on the Red Sox.Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Diane  Boucher  Saucier; his children and their spouses, Vickie and Lee Cummings of Caribou, Patrick and Kate Saucier of West Gardiner, and Natalie and Kurtis Beaulieu of Caribou; and his grandchildren, Joshua Cummings, Andrew Cummings, Elliot Saucier and Vincent Saucier. He will also be missed by his siblings, Joan Wade of Dover, DE, and Bobby Saucier of Caribou, as well as many nieces and nephews. Richard was predeceased by his parents; and his brother-in-law, Bill Wade.A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Parish of the Precious Blood Holy polene sac  Rosary Catholic Church in Caribou.
