 UK TV production house Chann stanley cup el X has appointed Stacy Herbert as head of script development as the company readies a debut feature slate including the first film from comedians Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer. Herbert, formerly a script consultant for UK-based sales, financing and production house Capitol Films, will work on a story idea by the duo, who are well known in the UK for their surreal TV comedy show,  The Smell Of Reeves  Mortimer. Also in development is a script by actor-comedian Rik Mayall.
