 ORRINGTON 鈥?Charleen Marie Giffard, 81, died after a long illness Sunday, December 27, 2015 at a Brewer healthcare facility. She was born June 4, 1934 in Orrington, the daughter of Harry and Bernice  King  Hanscom, Sr. Charleen was a graduate of Brewer High School.She and her husband  polene fr of nearly 50 years, Elmer  Giff  Giffard built their home in Orrington and raised 3 children. She was a homemaker, and later worked at Porteous and volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House. She loved life, friends, and most of all the time she spent with her fami polene ly. Charleen also enjoyed camping, gardening, sewing, knitting, and needlework.
