In a letter to Wauwatosa Mayor Dennis McBride, Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner said he was ready to contact federal law enforcement agencies to assist amid growing tensions between protesters and the police department.The letter was sent to McBride days after police say protesters assaulted Wauwatosa Police Officer Joseph Mensah at his girlfriend s home. The incident happened Saturday night. Mensah said he had tried to talk with protesters outside of the home, but was attacked and even shot at. State Rep.
