With the grant, the hospital will purchase Novii x2122; Wireless Patch Systems to place on mothers during labor.This monitoring system non-invasively measures and displays the fetal heart rate. The Novii x2122; Wireless Patch System will eliminate the need for the two separate systems used currently, according to the hospital. We are excited about this new equipment because we know expectant mothers and their newborns will be the ones to benefit from this new system, said Leslie Buddeke Smart, CFRE, president of the Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation.
