 Japan s Kadokawa Holdings, the core company of theKadokawa media group, has announced a wide-ranging tie-up with leading Koreanfilm outfit CJ Entertainment.Ka stanley cup dokawa officials told reporters in Tokyo that the twocompanies will jointly produce films using Kadokawa comics, novels and othercontents as source material. In addition to film investment, they will partnereach other in international film sales, as well publishing and otherfilm-related businesses. I think the current Korean film boom willcontinue a long time.  CJ Entertainment s production credits include the hits JSA Joint Security Area , Untold Scandal and Memories ofMurder. It also distributes DreamWorks films in Korea, Hong K stanley cup ong and China,while operating Korea s largest exhibition circuit. Kadokawa has been aggressively expanding its media empirein recent years, including the launch of a new production arm, Kadokawa Pictures,the acquisition of distributor Nippon Herald and an investment stake inDreamWorks.
