Two thousand children cast their votes for winning films at the Giffoni Film Festival, the Southern Italian film festival dedicated to children and young people s cinema which wrapped its 37th edition Saturday.Led by Claudio Gubitosi, the festival brought in a record number of young jurors from several countries to vote on 64 competition films in four sections: Kids ages 6-9 , First Screens ages 9-12 , Free to Fly ages 12-14 , Y Gen ages 15-19 . German distributor also acquires Martyrs.German distributor Tiberius Film has confirmed two deals on the eve of AFM.The company has acquired thriller Criminal Activities starring John Travolta [pictured] and horror Martyrs.Criminal Activities is about four young men who get involved in a bad deal with a gangster boss played by John Travolta.
