Peterborough East Side Marios owners Dianne and Matt Kraft were awarded for the overall success of their 933 Lansdowne Street West restaurant this year. Out of 80 East Side Marios locations across Canada, the local Italian eaterys owners were singled out for their restaurants culture, customer service, community involvement and more. We are so excited, says Dianne Kraft. This is the first time our restaurant has received this honour since it first opened twenty-one years ago. Kraft explains that she and her husband had previously owned and operated an East Side Marios location in Pickering, but moved to Peterborough in 1990 as they fell in love with the community here. The Peterborough East Side Marios franchise first opened in 1997, but someone else got it before we could.
