MILWAUKEE 鈥?Milwaukee police are announcing new charges against suspects in the death of the beloved corn vendor, Filigonio Ramirez-Montez, in August.Ramirez-Montez was pushing a cart from which he sold corn on South 11th Street on the night of Aug. 28 when two men approached, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports, citing a criminal complaint.A struggle erupted, gunshots were fired and Ramirez-Montez tried to escape, before one of the suspects beat him while another fired several more gunshots into him. An autopsy concluded Ramirez-Montez died from nine gunshots wounds, according to MJS.On Wednesday, Milwaukee police announced new charges against one of the suspects, earlier identified as Antoine Alphonse Jr. MPD also identified two new suspects, Diamond P.
