The nation s Roman Catholic bishops adopted new guidelines for  stanley cups gay outreach Tuesday that are meant to be welcoming, while also telling gays to be celibate since the church considers their sexuality  disordered. Gay Catholic activists said the approach was so contorted and flawed that it would alienate the very people it was trying to reach. The statement,  Ministry to Persons with a Homosexual Inclination,  was adopted by a 194-37 vote, with one abstention, at a meeting of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. The bishops also overwhelmingly adopted separate statements encouraging Catholics to obey the church s widely ignored ban on artificial contraception, and directing parishioners to examine their consciences to decide if they are worthy of receiving Holy Communion.Anyone who knowingly persists in sinful behavior, such as gay sex or using artificial birth control, should  stanley cup refrain from taking Communion, the bishops said.         To be a Catholic is a challenge,  said Bishop Arthur Serratelli of Paterson, N.J., chairman of the bishops  doctrin stanley cup e committee.  To be a Catholic requires a certain choice. Presenting the gay ministry document at the meeting, Serratelli acknowledged that gay and lesbian Catholics  have a difficult task in this world, but this task is necessary and good.  The tone of the document is positive, pastoral and welcoming,  Serratelli said.  Its starting point is the intrinsic human dignity of every person and God s love for every person.  The internal spaces of toys are made up of cotton, plastic, and air. But these amazing sculptures reveal an entire re-imagined internal anatomy for our favorite toys 鈥?ranging from Lego man, to My Little Pony, to Barbie 鈥?complete with bones, detailed musculature, and internal organs.     The sculptures are the work of Jason Freeny, who molds them out of stanley cup  clay, then finishes them off with a mix of primers and acrylics. If the toy he   working on has some basis on a real-life animal, he ;ll sometimes also base his model of that animal   real-life anatomy. For a lot of the sculptures, though, the inspiration comes from much closer to home: people. https://gizmodo/anatomy-of-a-lego-man-5920040 https://gizmodo/dissection-reveals-the-insides-of-sulley-from-monsters-1475194923 Jason told io9, Usually I just let the shape of the toy dictate it   inner anatomy shape. Sometimes I will research the specific animal it is based on, although mostly it is a morphed human anatomy seeing as most characters stand upright. Freeny was interviewed in Smithsonian magazine today, where he describes the whole evolution of the project, which first began six years ago when he was sketching a balloon-animal and decided to sketch  stanley thermosflasche the internal anatomy of what a real-life one might look like. From there, the project expanded outwards to sculpture.  Here are just a couple of our favorites: Images via Jason Freeny                                                stanley cup          Ba
