The company hasnt released a public statement on the matter. Sissie Hsiao, vice president of Google Assistants business unit, sent the memo to employees announcing the reshuffling on Wednesday. Hsiao explained that the Assistants longtime vice president of engineering, Jianchang  JC  Mao, would be leaving the company  for personal reasons.  Mao was responsible for helping  shape the Assistant  we now use on Android and Googles smart home gadgets. The position will be taken over by Google VP Peeyush Ranjan, who previously worked on Google Pay.     In a move that more closely points to a reshuffling of resources to Bard, Google Assistant engineering vice president Amar  stanley cup Subramanya will also now lead engineering for Bard. According to CNBC, Hsiao wrote to employees:  As the Bard teams continue this work, we want to ensure we continue to support and execute on the opportunities ahead 8230;This year, more than ever, we have been focused on delive stanley sverige ry with impact to our users.  Will Google Assistant have Bard-Powered AI  The potential writing on the wall here is that we eventually end up seeing Bard get integrated into Google Assistant, as the former team grows larger and the latter smaller.  The  extremely surprising  observation was made by astronomers Ned Molter and Imke de Pater of the University of California Berkeley, during a test run observing Neptune at twilight at the W.M. Keck Observatory at Maunakea, Hawaii. The storm, which spans roughly 5,600 miles  9,000 km , appeared to get  much brighter  between June 26th and July 2nd, according to a press release issued by Keck this week.      Historically, very bright clouds have occasionally been seen  stanley becher on Neptune, but usually at latitudes closer to the poles, around 15 to 60 degrees north or south,  de Pater said in a statement.  Never before has a cloud been seen at, or so close to the equator, nor has one ever been this bright.  A distant ice giant thats only been visited by a single spacecraft, Voyager 2, the inner workings of Neptune remain largely mysterious to planetary scientists, although theyve witnessed some impressive meteorological action in its azure skies over the years. The Hubble Space Telescope saw a similar bright cloud complex in 1994, shortly after a mysterious dark vortex, imaged by Voyager 2 in 1989, had disappeared. In 2015, a new dark vortex cropped up in Neptunes southern hemisphere. Scientists have been attempting to track the anti-cyclone ever since, snagging some beautiful images with Hubble last year.
