Ergonomically, the major selling point then and now is that the Surface Book is still functionally a laptop with decent hardware specs at that , but if you want or need to use it as a tablet you can. As someone who has traditionally shunned tablets because I hate typing on them and no way in hell do I wanna spend another $100 for a separate keyboard , the Surface Book 3 is surprising! I still made lots of typos since there are no physical keys to help guide my finger placement, but as long as I looked at the keyboard I could type almost as fast.
