Heres a fun one! It shows you how bugs use fluid dynamics to their advantage. Everyone is familiar with the meniscus: its the tiny upward slope of the milk thats near the edge of your bowl, or the littl stanley gertuve e divots that coffee makes when its close to the edge of the mug. Now what if youre in the water, youre tiny, and you cant swim very well  The meniscus might look like an unclimbable mountain, or it might look like a quick way to get to the edge of where youre going. Some insects look like theyre  falling up  the meniscus, a technique called  meniscus climbing.  They have different methods, but my favorite are the larva-looking-insects that arch their bodies up, creating their own little meniscus, and letting the two menisci combine.                                                        biophysicsScience                                                                                                                                                                                                              Daily Newsletter                                                                                                 stanley cup usa                         You May Also Like         stanley nz                                                                           Tech NewsArtificial Intelligence                                    AI Could Be Making Scientists Less Creative                          A new study examining 68 million scientific papers shows using AI boosts researchers  careers, but narrows t Iaus FLYING CAR UPDATE: Just Two More Years, Guys!
Architect Tsvetan Toshkov c stanley cup quencher reated his City in the Sky concept as part of the Megatropolis project, in which various artists and architects shared their vision for a future mega developed London.
