A complaint report from Peterboroughs integrity commissioner says the citys chief administrative officer, Sandra Clancy, alleged Mayor Diane Therrien wrongly pressured her into an early retirement.According to the complaint, in a series of events culminating on Feb. 12, the Respondent Therrien pressured the Complainant Clancy , and wrongly claimed to speak for Council, in an attempt to get the Complainant to retire earlier than she had otherwise planned. In his findings for the report, commissioner Guy Giorno found Therrien did not commit harassment and discussions related to Clancys employment were the business of council, even if her comments did not reflect a council decision.
