 TORONTO 鈥?Yamana Gold Inc. says the Canadian Malartic mine in Quebec has ramped up production more quickly than anticipated following a COVID-related shut-down.The mine, one of North America   largest gold producers, milled more than 60,000 tonnes per day of ore in both May and June, partially offsetting the down time and ramp-up in production that began April 15 after the province allowed work to resume.Yamana estimates its total gold production for the second quarte stanley cup r was 164,141 ounces, including Canadian Malartic and its four South American mines.  For the third straight year, the Walk or Run for Georgetown Hospital set a fundraising record.The Sept. 26 walk was virtually for a second year due to COVID-19, but going online has done little to hinder fundraising efforts.More than 360 people participated and they raised a record $80,000, which topped last years total by $10 stanley flasche ,000.               ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW                                         This was a fantastic community event with amazing fundraising results. It was great to see so many families and teams come out this year,  sai stanley becher d Betty DOliveira, the events volunteer chair.  We are so thankful to all the participants, sponsors, donors and volunteers for helping make this event such a success. This event will have a positive impact on patients at our community hospital for years to come.       The money raised this year will go toward the hospitals most urgent equipment needs, including new and upgraded surgica stanley cup l equipment.
