Martin Scorsese will present a world premiere restoration of Fellinis classic La Dolce Vita at the fifth International Rome Film Festival on Oct 30.The festival also recently announced two 20 minute previews of Kevin Munroes Dylan Dog: Dead Of Night and Joseph Kosinskis Tron: Legacy, as well as advance screenings of The Social Network, which is not due for national release until Nov 11.The 4K digital restoration of La Dolce Vita was supported by the Film Foundation, the company Scorsese set up to preserve and restore film libraries and individual film prints, and fashion house Gucci.The restoration work was carried out by Cineteca di Bologna at LImmagine Ritrovata in association with The Film Foundation, Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia-Cineteca Nazionale, Path茅, Fondation J茅r么me Seydoux-Path茅, Mediaset and Medusa film, Paramount Pictures and Cinecitt脿 Luce.Scorsese commented: Fellini brought something new to Italian cinema.
