stanley cup nActors and film industry executives were among those recognised in the 2019 New Years Honours List.Actors Thandie Newton Crash, Westworld and Jim Carter Downton Abbey received OBEs, whilst Sophie Okonedo Hotel Rwanda, Christopher Robin received a CBE.Samantha Perahia, head of production at the British Film Commission BFC , was awarded an MBE. Perahia joined the BFC in 2004 and helped develop the UKs Creative Sector Tax Reliefs.Paul Reeve, chief executive of film education charity Into Film, was awarded an MBE.
