Ppkd THINKFilm picks up Canadian rights to Coupland s Green
 Frida Torresblanco, the New York-based producer of Pan s Labyrinth, will be the keynote speaker at a conference entitled US-Mexico Border States Conference: Film-making, Economic Development and Intellectual Property Rights to be held in Tucson, Arizona, March 27 and 28.The event is being sponsored by the University Of Arizona s Hanson Film Institute with the Motion Picture Association  MPA  and The National Law Center For Inter-American Free Trade.The conference will focus on the collaboration needed to address shared challenges and embrace the benefits of the film industry in the US and Mexico.Torresblanco has been head of Esperanto Films, a production company established by Alfonso Cuaron since 2001. She was executive producer on The Assassination Of Richard Nixon and Cronicas, and produced Pan s Labyrinth and Cuaron s documentary The Possibility Of Hope.
