CONWAY, S.C. -- Dan Thompkins is back home with a new outlook on life after spending nearly 300 days in the hospital recovering from COVID-19.Dan Thompkins: I ve been in bed at night and just cried myself to sleep because I thought I was a burden to my family, Thompkins said with tears in his eyes.He said when he got home he wanted to walk over to his daughter and give her a big hug and realized he couldnt.
