AP FORT HOOD, Texas - Attorneys for the Army psychiatrist charged in the deadly Fort Hood shooting rampage have asked to further postpone his military trial until October.Maj. Nidal Hasan s attorneys didn t say during a pretrial hearing Wednesday why they want the trial postponed from June until October. The judge, Col. Gregory Gross, previously delayed it from March until June. He could rule on the matter next week.Gross granted the defense team s request Wednesday for a government-paid forensic pathologist to review autopsy reports. He denied prosecutors request to admit evidence before the trial, including 911 calls made from the Texas Army post during the November 2009 attack.Hasan is charged with 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder. That why researchers at MIT are proposing using drones as lighting, as they can constantly ensure they ;re always in the perfect spot. The research not only involves creating drones that can be easily positioned and then will autonomously maintain that position in relation to the movement of the camera and photographer. It also working to develop sensor-equipped drones and algorithms that are smart enough to look at how the lighting falls on a subject, and then constantly adjust its position to achieve a desired effect no matter how often they move. And battery life aside, the lighting drones would make on-location setups far easier than they are now by eliminating the need for weighted stands and having to run cabling to a power source.
