Tuzn Feds: Crisis Communications Subpar In U.S.
A group of children trick-or-treating door-to-door in a Pennsylvania trailer park made a gruesome discovery late Thursday when they came across the body of an unnamed 68-year-old man who had shot himself in the head still perched on his stoop, the York Dispatch reported.  Although the children immediately reported the discovery after it was made around 6:20 p.m., the mental damage may have been done.   I m sure it was very upsetting to the children who saw him, and to their families,   stanley thermos Newberry Township Police Chief John Snyder told the Dispatch.  To me, it s someth stanley water bottle ing they re probably going to remember for the rest of their lives. I wish an adult would have found him before the kids did.   Snyder said there was only a small amount of blood at stanley becher  the scene, and that the man wasn t really visible from the street, making it unlikely that too many kids saw him. Also, the gun used was hidden under the man s legs, so that  unless you looked for it, you wouldn t have seen it,  Snyder said. Snyder also told the Dispatch that although they do not know the exact time of death, it was obvious the man - who was described as a loner and gravely ill - had spent a considerable number of hours dead in the open in broad daylight.            I m confused as to why no one during the day saw it,  he said.  I assume people thought he was a  Halloween  decoration. The way he was lying there, you wouldn t have known if he was just taking a nap or if he was a decoration.       ponent--type-recirculatio Chrf D.C. sniper shows remorse a decade after shootings
According to two separate reports鈥攆rom Variety and the Wall Street Journal鈥擥oogle is thinking of purchasing the video game streaming startup Twitch. That would get Google one of the web    most highly trafficked sites.     The two reports do, however, differ. Variety claims that the deal is virtually sealed, and will see Twitch being purchase for $1 billion. On the other, hand, the Wall Street Journal is rather more conservative--explaining that the discussions are early and that a deal isn ;t imminent. http://online.wsj/news/article_email/SB10001424052702304422704579570601736756672-lMyQjAxMTA0MDEwODExNDgyWj Elsewhere, Verge claims that the two companies have agreed on a price and are working out details, but points out that, according to unnamed sources, a number of other parties have been sniffing around Twitch鈥攏otably Microsoft. Details are otherwise scant, but it makes sense. The purchase is apparently being mulled by Googlers at YouTube, and Twitch is perhaps the biggest video game live-streaming site on the web鈥?stanley cup with more than 1 million uniqu stanley thermos e users broadcasting on its platform every month. YouTube, while huge, kinda missed out on the kind of live streams that Twitch offers. Though contradictory,  the reports at least suggest that Google is keen to take over Twitch. Let   wait see.
