A lovesick 16-year-old girl crashed her car into an oncoming ve stanley kubek hicle in a suicide attempt, counting down the moments before impact in text messages sent to the female classmate who spurned her, authorities say. The girl survived; a woman in the other car was killed stanley bottle .The teenage stanley cup r, Louise Egan Brunstad, was charged Thursday with murder in the Oct. 4 wreck. There was what might be described as a countdown to the actual event mdash; 10, 9, 8 ... then the crash,  District Attorney Paul Howard said.Howard said it was unclear whether the classmate the messages were intended for responded to them or even read them, either as they were sent or afterward.Authorities said Brunstad rammed her family s Mercedes-Benz head-on into a smaller car driven by 30-year-old Nancy Salado-Mayo, a mother of three. Salado-Mayo was killed and her 6-year-old daughter Lesly, who was in a child safety seat, suffered broken ribs and other injuries.        Brunstad, who was treated for an ankle injury, had told friends she planned to kill herself after another female student at Holy Innocents Episcopal School refused to have sex with her, Howard said.Witnesses told police the girl never slowed as she crossed over a turning lane and into oncoming traffic on busy Roswell Road in Atlanta s Buckhead neighborhood. She was traveling at a high rate of speed,  Howard said.  This is an intentional action. Prosecutors said they intend to try her as an adult. If convicted, she faces an automatic life sentence.          Svni Feds Dial Back Tobacco Demand
You might have thought the question of Game of Thrones going too far would have been moot a long time ago. This is the show that gave us  82 gourde stanley 20 exposition and Joffrey brutalizing sex workers, after all. But a lot of people seem to feel as though one moment in last night   episode was, finally, too much. Spoilers ahead 8230;     It doesn ;t help that the terrible scene in question is not in the books 鈥?at l stanley cup east, it doesn ;t happen in the same way, at all. And that makes it seem that much more gratuitous and awful. Is the show finally pursuing shock value for the sake of shock value  On the other hand, last night   episode seems to have a theme of atrocities begetting atrocities. Before the Red Wedding, the guest right that protected guests was sacred 鈥?but no more, as Sandor Clegane, aka the Hound, explains.  Now thanks to Lord Walder,  nobody can ever trust guest right again. Everybody   going to be expecting betrayal and sacrilege, which will probably be a self-fufilling prophecy. And maybe the Red Wedding is just one of the unthinkable acts that has stripped away the tra stanley becher ditions and sacred bonds that used to protect people in Westeros. And maybe that   the meaning of the horrendous scene that people are so upset about  Breaker of Chains seems to imply that a lot of the old chains of honor, duty and piety have been shattered, maybe forever, as a result of some shocking actions.
