Halton police are warning the public following an incident of tow chasing ; that saw a man charged thousands of dollars after his vehicle was towed from a collision scene.The incident, police said, took place in September when a tow truck arrived on the scene of a traffic accident in Halton without being called by the vehicle owner
stanley taza .The driver of the tow truck reportedly talked the man into allowing his vehicle to be towed to the Burlington Collision Reporting Centre, and from there to the Oakville Collision Reporting Centre when the Burlington location turned out to be closed.
