COVID-19 testing centres are doing well, but may need to adjust to serve their unique communities, including marginalized populations, and also to accommodate more people seeking testing, according to recommendations from Ontario Health.More mobile testing and in-home testing are two ways centres can adapt to their specific populations, according to the recommendations, outlined in a letter from Matthew Anderson, president and CEO of Ontario Health, to assessment centre leads and hospital CEOs in the province.Its also being suggested that testing centres create two streams: one for people who have no symptoms, and one for people who do, and who may require a more detailed assessment by a physician, or even redirection to a hospital or emergency department.
