owala , she helped on her familys farm. She loved to ice skate. She graduated from Higgins Classical Institute. In 1947 Shirley married Francis Harvey of Kenduskeag, and together they raised three children. She was a stay-at-home mom while her children were growing up. She was a great seamstress, making a lot of her children and grandchildrens clothing. Later she started work at The Earring Tree as a manager in the new Bangor Mall. After she retired from there, she worked at a hardware store. Shirley enjoyed vacationing with her family; they always rented a house wherever they went so everyone could be together. She was an avid reader sometimes having two books going at once. She loved her cats and her dog. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed.She is survived by her daughter, Frannie Currier and husband, Gary, of Kenduskeag; her son, Stewart Harvey of Kenduskeag; and the loves of her life, her grandchildren, Nichole Harvey, Kamenie Currier, Ben Currier, Kailin Currier, all of Kenduskeag, Lindsey Jewett and her husband, Phil, of Edinburg and Carlie Wright and her husband, Travis, of Georgia.
